But you know, I really don't encourage people eating there. I suppose the food prices for some items are pretty reasonable, but $12 for the first hour is just not really worth it. Yes the subsequent half hours are only $5 but if you do the math it's only $1 cheaper lol.

 You have to be really gentle with the cats and most of them run off when you intend to stroke them. And well most of them napped almost the whole 1.5 hours we were there so... 

Oh and one thing that really pissed me off was that we only called to book a 1 hour slot, but we exceeded by like 12minutes and we had to pay the extra half hour. It's our fault for not minding the time  (too captivated by the cats) but it would really be nice if the staff could remind us that one hour was up. 

It's kind of a shame that carrying of cats are not allowed (since it is near impossible that they will voluntarily jump onto your lap) but it is understandable that some people may be overly aggressive and insistent.

Do look out for this 'cat cafe' sign, it's pretty easy to miss!

This is the enclosed area where all the cats are! It's really cosy and luckily for us they weren't too busy that day so we sort of had all the cats to ourselves!

Visitors can order food/drinks through the sliding glass window. On the other side there's a small synthetic grass lawn which is the only place where shoes are allowed. Anywhere beyond that area is strictly no shoes allowed! Btw thats gin (left) and agnes the bday girl (right).

First thing first, meet Dewey. Because this is my favourite cat there and I think we have a special bond (ok maybe it's one sided but what's new) Also, Dewey is Mr white's brother!

But, this lazy cat slept like half the time I was there... but it's okay...

This is Little Miss Muffet. She's Baloo's sister (which is the next cat in line). The pink thing is her belly btw.

She's huge man. Both her and Baloo are the oldest at 5 years old and their size shocked me when they got out of their curled sleeping position.

Her white chest makes her name really apt idk why maybe it makes Little Miss Muffet look really feminine.

Meet Kai Kai. (who has a sister named Jia Jia)

He loves to prowl around like a tiger

And watch the world go by underneath his little paws.

He does the most impossible feat jumping everywhere (and yes it's a god damn cat-opoly say whatttt)

He watches you from where you can't see.

At times he just likes to nibble on kibbles (see what I did???)

And I think Kai Kai loves balloons he has been eyeing them wherever they are.

This is 4 year old Demi who has the most beautiful prominent prints I've seen on a tabby cat.

On a side note, it's totally cool to visit Neko no Niwa if you haven't, it's a good experience but it's not somewhere people would frequent I suppose. It's kinda overpriced and they are not much food choices, I think it would be good if they served proper meals? Otherwise it's pretty much paying $22 without eating anything lol pls don't tell me to eat cakes until I'm full. 

I have read some pretty bad reviews because everyone is trying to get the cat's attention when the cafe is fully booked and really crowded but fortunately for us there were only 3 groups of people there including us so it's all great. 

Feel free to drop by the cafe if you're around the Singapore River but do make a reservation as they are usually fully booked!
